First of- Wednesday night I worked, as I usually do. Now last wenesday I left work after feeling really faint and dizzy. So this was the same, I was feeling all woozy and nasty and like puking. So at about 11- i finally puked. In front of my buddy Shawn, i threw up the delicious Tuna Melt I had for lunch. I went home not caring to finish my work.
I went to bed and woke up the next day (thursday) called the doctor, got yelled at for not finishing my work. Went to the doctor and she told me that there was something going around where people were getting nausia and vomiting, so she prescribed me this medication with a long ass name, idk. I was told to stay inside until Monday, which I'm doing.
So then my sickness went away on Friday/Saturday. I was on this stuff for a day and a half when I stopped taking it cos i didn't like the groginess it was making me feel and shit so I was like- no. This was saturday morning around 10 that I took it last. I was fine all day and then around 430 after Matt came home from work I started getting this strange facial tick. I couldn't stop ticking into a grin. I thought that was weird so I was like 'whatever' and shrugged it off for a bit.But then it kept getting worse until my whole face was contoring into the weirdest, most uncomfortable positions imaginable! I started FREAKING out. I was crying and hysterical until Matt convinced me to go to the hospital, which I'm glad he did.
Thank god the ER was empty cos I was in real pain, I had gotten lock jaw from the way my face was pulling and contracting. It was terrifying, really. They took me back almost immediately and it took about an hour (we watched Four Brothers on TV, lol for real). Although I couldn't really watch anything. Imagaine someone you've seen on the street who can't stop looking up and there fingers get all crooked and their faces look all bunched up and contorted- well that was me last night. Mom met me there to help with paperwork and everything so I was really glad for all the support. After about an hour, but felt like forever, the nurse came in a gave me two shots on my bum bum- one was benedryl and calm me down and the other was a sterioid to relax my muscles.
So i went home and tried my best to eat some soup (my jaw was really sore and painful) and around 930 I passed out and work up this morning just fine. Went to breakfast and everything. It was a terrible weekend I hope to never ever repeat ever again.
End of story.
I need to register for classes this week- sweet. My cousin chelsea is coming down to stay with me over Thanksgiving, so I'm pretty excited about that!
